LETTERFORMS AS SOUNDTRACKS
For this project, we were asked to redesign an album that was from a few decades ago and we redesigned it from scratch. I found this project to be really fun and it taught me a lot of new things! I did need to make the circle on the album a little bit bigger, but other than that I wouldn't change anything about my album!
For the fonts, I used Futura, and for the "SOUL" part of my album I used the pen tool on Illustrator.
I loved doing this project because it gave me the chance to redesign a whole album from scratch, and I got to do my own thing. Some things that I learned were how to use a bone folder, and how to score. Some things I had difficulty with was making sure the album was balanced and felt right to me, and with changing some of the colors around on the front I felt more confident with it!
Above is the album design laid out in Adobe Illustrator! I love how it turned out printed as well and I enjoyed learning how to use a bigger printer. Below is the circle that I created for the album as well!
